Embark on a two-day adventure exploring the vibrant biodiversity of two stunning Rift Valley lakes. Full Itinerary
Your driver/guide will collect you from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Nairobi airport. Setting off in our 4×4 Jeep, we will journey towards Lake Nakuru, traversing the picturesque farmlands of the central highlands. En route, we will pass through the breathtaking towers and gorges of the Rift Valley escarpment, pausing along the way to stretch, refresh, and soak in the stunning vistas.
Prepare for a full day of exhilarating game drives across the breathtaking terrain of Lake Nakuru Park. This remarkable landscape boasts rocky escarpments, cascading waterfalls, lush forests, wooded hills, and the iconic lake itself. In addition to the mesmerizing flocks of flamingoes, you’ll also have the pleasure of encountering storks, herons, eagles, and pelicans among the diverse birdlife.
But it’s not just about the avian residents – the park is also home to a rich array of land-based wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of rhinos, buffaloes, and possibly even lions as you explore the compact yet diverse park. With its condensed size, Lake Nakuru Park offers excellent opportunities to spot a wide variety of animals amidst its stunning landscapes.

We will continue our bird and game viewing adventures around Lake Nakuru and throughout the park’s surroundings. Afterwards, we will embark on a brief drive to Lake Naivasha.
Here, we will indulge in a boat safari across the lake, gliding past hippos, diverse birdlife, and with luck, spotting grazing zebra and antelope along the shore. Keep a keen eye out for buffalo, eland, impala, and occasionally even leopard sightings.
Following the boat safari, we will enjoy a special excursion to the nearby Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, a picturesque private reserve teeming with mostly gentle grazers. Led by the Sanctuary’s naturalist, we will embark on a guided walking safari to observe herds of wildebeest, waterbuck, zebra, gazelle, and more up close.
As our adventure ends, we will make our way back to Nairobi. Anticipate arriving in town by early evening, where we will ensure you are safely transported to your hotel, residence, or the airport, concluding our memorable journey together
